When long term and much loved client, Northgate Vehicle Hire tasked us with creating a series of new initiatives, devising a new campaign turned into so much more when we put our thinking caps on and put pen to paper.
Challenged with developing internal, as well as external, comms, here's what we got up to...
A new breed of fun loving characters was introduced to Northgate as a way of communicating in a light-hearted manner whilst getting across targeted messages. In the form of fleet managers, office staff, and public sector workers, the new characters also led to the introduction of 'Safe' and 'Sound' who formed the heart of a new health and safety campaign.
The characters were introduced through a brand new website which provided Northgate with a unified online presence and its customers with one online hub. We designed the visuals and html templates before passing them over to the in-house team to complete the build.
The internal health and safety campaign was responsible for communicating key messages with over 2,000 employees throughout 60 branches in the UK... no task for the faint-hearted!
Creating scenarios for 10 key principles to highlight hazardous situations and encourage health and safety in the workplace, 'Safe' and 'Sound' were used to show that Northgate places as much importance on internal comms as it does with external activity.
